Today, all progressives in PA got some great news. Tony Payton has received the recognition he has long fought for. Tony spent a solid year lobbying, and now his efforts have paid off.
No, its not an award in good government, but, its very close. And, it is is something that will definitely be used in canvassing his district, especially when going up against the next candidate that Marge Tartaglione will toss at him.
Ladies and gentlemen, Tony Payton has been named a Daily News "Sexy Single."
We learn a lot about Mr. Payton from the profile, including that he used to do stand up.
"I used to do stand-up comedy, open mike nights here and there. I wasn't good though."
As someone who has heard Tony tell jokes, I can confirm the second sentence.
Anyway, ladies, if you would like to be regaled with stories about the REACH scholarship, or what Mark B. Cohen has for lunch, Tony is your man!

I'm in denial about the fact that Tony let himself be included in this "Sexy Singles" list...
BUT!

To read this, Tony is some sort of rising Godfather. About half the list has some sort of ties to him and everyone else is backed by people whose sun is setting. Tony is the only one on the list who's seen as the one above any of the rest.
Pretty cool.
