Election Bull
Submitted by Anthony Rod on Wed, 05/16/2007 - 1:00am.I wrote before how they have to do more to differentiate clearly the candidates running. Ben Ramos got 43,000 votes to Juans (the incumbent) 40,000. Does anyone on earth think that all those votes Ben got were truly his? No!! they were Juans, he was robbed, plain and simple. The problem is, No one cares, because once again, througout the city, their will be no latino representation. Congrats to Maria in the 7th, but that is only one district.
Outrage over Ben Ramos
Submitted by Anthony Rod on Mon, 05/14/2007 - 8:10pm.Is anyone else angry that he's just trying to run to get Juan knocked off? Their should be a law about people running with the same last name. I just saw a Ramos sign on the Boulevard, Only reason I knew it wasnt the real ramos is the number. It was just a big RAMOS with a small BEN in the corner. The real RAMOS IS JUAN, his number is 88. I
Don't forget a true reformer in Juan Ramos on May 15th!!
Submitted by Anthony Rod on Sat, 05/12/2007 - 10:33pm.People tend to get so caught up in this new reform that they forget the ones they already have. Juan has been a grass roots reformer since he was 18 years old (google his name and you'll find more than any other Council Member).
I was at a rally at 5th and Lycombe (Cousins Supermarket, North Phillyans know about Cousins :)) Juan Ramos and Maria Quinones were the ones the rally was being held for. Having both of them in Council would show a great shift in Council Chambers.
The Real Ramos for Council at LARGE Button 88!
Council at Large Predictions
Submitted by Anthony Rod on Thu, 05/10/2007 - 7:23pm.The latino community had to wait long enough for city wide representation. We have that in JUAN Ramos, why are so many so quick to cut him off? Shall we have no representation in the city? We live in more than just the 7th district. Please come out and support a true reformer since age 18 (google his name, you're sure to be impressed).

Let's not get so caught up in this reform attitude that we forget the reformers we have.
These should be the top 3 on the at large Democratic Ballot!
I look forward to your comments.
