Hello!

This is Tommy the Loan Shark & Jim Nixon. Tommy and I were very busy with final exams, so we had to basically put the breaks on things… We never endorsed a candidate (for what that is worth… haha), as it seemed very close to us right through the end.

For the record, we were never part of any campaign. We stand by that 100%.

And again, Mr. Keel’s obnoxious intrusion into our press conference was not why things slowed a bit. We really were very busy.

TO THE GOOD NEWS!!!!

We achieved our goal in keeping Knox out of City Hall (not that we take a large share of credit for that, we were just doing our part). As we have said all along, that was our one and ONLY goal. We congratulate Mr. Nutter, and feel he will make an excellent mayor. Good for you Mike!

While I am EXTATIC about any poll that shows Knox may loose... I cannot put much faith in my excitement. Without being arrogant, I have some experience with polls, (I received my BA and MA in Political Science, and specialized in polls) and I find the polls thus far to be garbage. For a poll to be accurate, it needs to cover approx 1,700 people, carefully selected among economic, political, gender, orientation, residential, and etc. people. There is NO WAY that any of these polls of 500 +/- persons represent, accurately, the outcome. My stance from the beginning was, and remains, whoever can beet Knox is my choice, hands down. I am excited that Nutter has polled better, I really am. But, I do put little faith in the polls done thus far. I suppose if I had to vote today, it would be Nutter, but I am still worried given the lack of scientific method applied to the polls thus far... Reactions?

The following statements are 100% truthful. If the Knox campaign wants to test that, Jim Nixon is willing to take a lie detector test if Knox fits the bill... Video and witness accounts will corroborate these facts.

-Michael Youngblood came after us, and made many violent and profane threats.

-Knox said "Enjoy the fish fry" (or something to that effect) while Youngblood was coming after me.

-I am not associated with any union or candidate.

-I am not a "goon" as Susan points out. See the myspace link below. I am an average graduate student with no history of violence... Watch the video and ask yourself, would you be intimidated by me if you were Michael Youngblood while in North Philadelphia close to dark???? Come on now...

-We are a peaceful and independent grassroots group, and will only speak the truth. We never use profanity or lies. We break no laws. We are just asserting our rights to free speech...
