DO GOODE At-Large!
GOOD MORNING!
My name is W. Wilson Goode, Jr.
I am the youngest At-Large Member of Philadelphia City Council. I was first elected 8 years ago at the age of 34.
Today - on Election Day - I ask for your vote - and I promise to get even better at what I do.
As you consider the At-Large race, I ask you to vote for the five best candidates to work collaboratively with our new Mayor - Michael Anthony Nutter.
We need progressive members of City Council with their own good ideas - but who can also be team players in cooperative efforts to tackle this City's tough problems.
I am up for this challenge - blending experience with a renewed sense of enthusiasm.
Do Goode At- Large - push button #1 for the entire Democratic Ticket - or #122 if you are making individual selections.
Believe it or not, I do need your vote.
I need you to know that in the political battle between Jack Kelly and David Oh - some Kelly supporters in the Democratic Party are cutting ME for Kelly primarily because of my ballot position. So I do need your vote.
Thank you, please VOTE - and choose the best team to move this city in a progressive direction. :)

I'm voting for Wilson Goode
Regular readers of YPP know that we have had some disagreements in the past. But he and Jim Kenney are the among the most innovative at-large incumbents candidates.
But--I can't resist being a little oppositional--I don't think Wilson has much to worry about in this election.
Goode is a good
Goode is a good candidate---and yes I think he is getting better. This election is exciting. There are a lot of great candidates on the ballot, and even if not everyone we like wins, Council is going to be better than it was. Get out and vote peeps.
Updates as to the races are great.
