Vince Fumo has been indicted by federal authorities on 139 charges of corruption, fraud, and obstruction of justice. Fumo is accused of misspending more than $1 million of State Senate resources by repeatedly using Senate employees and contractors to serve his personal and political needs. Additionally, Fumo is accused of defrauding two tax-payer funded non-profits in excess of $1 million.

The first ad appears on page 19 of the Philadelphia Daily News, and informs voters about the charges related to the use of Senate employees and contractors on Fumo's 99.9 acre Harrisburg hobby farm, where he planned to raise South American Alpacas.
