Filmmaker sought to Document and Follow the Timeline of Political, Zoning and Environmental Crimes in Philly
I noticed a call for entires on the Greater Philadelphia Film Commission site.
This story involves some of the top lawyers in the city, the politicians and their failures across Philadelphia regarding Environmental Justice issues, brownfield issues and manipulation of the zoning codes and denial of civil rights. Issues of Councilmanic Prerogative and abuse. What happens to their victims and the political connection between lawyers, politicians and developers which has strangled humane government and development in Philadelphia. Tie in the historical corruption and pollution of Philadelphia. Interviews with some of the top activists in the city.
ECO FILMS WANTED
GreenFest Philly 2008 wants your eco-films! Cohosted by PhillyCarShare and Future Weather Productions, GFP’s Eco-Film Forum will feature entertaining documentary, narrative, or animated shorts related to nature, sustainability, environmental issues, global warming or social activism. Content can be any format and up to 30 minutes in length. Local stories are preferred.
GreenFest is September 7, from 11am – 6pm, and featured filmmakers are encouraged to attend the Forum!

"All for the Taking" is a film in a similar vein, but this film will be more update and address many of the current issues that harm our city. It will be different but also in the political exposure genre. www.allforthetaking.org
