Primary Responsibilities:

As part of the External Affairs team, the Government and Media Relations Coordinator develops and implements external affairs strategies and projects concerning reproductive rights, family planning, abortion, sexuality education, and other related issues.

Education:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-3 years related experience.

Experience:

Must have working knowledge of state and federal legislative process and media relations. Familiarity with tri-county political arena and political lobbying skills desirable. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Initiative and ability to work independently is critical. Must be willing to travel and accept a flexible work schedule that includes evening and weekend commitments. Must have access to a car.
