I mean really, we all read the "1-in-10 chance" article in the Politico, but jeeeesus!
Whatever. I'm in a GREAT mood. GREAT MOOD, people. The Allentown IronPigs stadium opened yesterday, a beautiful day, lines of people who couldnt get tickets outside the fence, looking in. And they got 3 runs off the Phils. If you MUST pick a corporate name for your stadium, you can't get classier than Coca-Cola Park.
And Scranton gets an upgrade to the Yankees! Everyone's happy.
Lotta neurosis with the name though. Both "the IronPigs" themselves - reminder of an ugly and incomplete economic transition - and then that mess with the original mascot, whose name was actually a local ethnic slur. (Hence the change.) Gosh, I need to get back to work.
Missing the Phils. Very happy about the rain though. An outrageous spring is really good for Hillary's race. (Particularly in the midwest).
