The Inquirer has endorsed Matt McClure for the 4th District seat vacated by Michael Nutter. I have to agree with the choice. McClure is not part of anyones political machines and has demonstrated knowledge at the council forums worthy of a mayoral candidate. I frequently noticed his opponent taking notes when McClure spoke, and using the information gleamed in the next forum.

Amen on the Inqy's endorsement of McClure in the 4th
They summed it up well. Carol's been a disgrace. Jones has a resume but is too cozy with the status quo, and McClure is "well-prepared and passionate about reforming the way City Hall operates".

VOTE MCCLURE AND REFORM
Supporting Matt McClure for Council, Nutter for Mayor, and Dalessandro's over Chubby's.
They did get it right. Matt
They did get it right.
Matt is a former colleague for whom I'll be working on election day. He's smart, hard working and as honest as they come. In other words, about as far removed from Carol Campbell as it's possible to be.
