I respect Michael Smerconish. To hear him say that he sees nothing wrong with Palin's recent comments, "He's not one of us," He's not like us" and the AP was wrong for characterizing her statement " as just below racist" blew me away. Is any one else wondering what she could possibly mean when she says he is not one of us?
I took it to mean he's not American. If he's not American what is he? If he's not like us, why not?
The sleeziest election in history was between Jefferson and Adams. I think in their desperation McCain Palin have lowered sleeze to a new level. They should be ashamed of themselves as should Michael Smerconish and anyone else who could support such fear mongering.
I emailed Michael informing him I have changed the channel and indeed I have. I hope others do the same.
