My Sweet, Sweet Voice on the Radio
First of all, aside from what I am about to write, I would like to give a little shout out to Brady Dale, and the work he is doing (and writing about); specifically universal healthcare, and mortgage foreclosures. Great stuff, both from a moral standpoint as well as the timeliness of it all. And, it is cool that in our little community we have someone who is doing on-the-ground organizing on such huge topics.
But, more importantly, back to me. For those interested in hearing my sweet, sweet baritone, I am going to be on LIVE at the Kelly Writer's House, tonight, at 8PM, on WXPN. I will be reading stuff from the blog (the show taped last week), and I will probably come on the air at about 8:20 or so.

Like a greatest hits?
That's awesome! I'll have to hunt it up on-line? I'm too big of a flake to match my schedule to that.

I was there
and Dan's voice WAS pretty sweet. Very "Selected Shorts".
What did you read?
What kind of excerpts from YPP made it on air?
Pure enlightened self-interest on my part, natch,

This is awesome
Thanks to the magic of the internet, we can actually make fun of Dan in real time.

What did you do, threaten
What did you do, threaten your little brother to play piano for you? We all know that that’s where the talent is in the family.
Now I have to find a new
Now I have to find a new excuse for missing the casino protest.

Some men see things as they are and say, “Why”? I dream of things that never were and say, “Why not”?

Majoun
I'd say that she should be asleep by now, given that 5AM-10AM shift. But I was told that the first two hours of her morning show are pre-recorded.
Heh
If Matt Reilly was sitting live in a booth, he might have recognized that something was fouled up with the previous program. But there's less and less actual "live radio" these days.
It will be on next week
Some error editing or something. It will be now be on next Monday at 8.
