philadelphia parking authority
Question:
Why would the parking authority take on more responsibility?
Answer:
To create more jobs!
The Philadelphia parking authority has been awarded exclusive rights to do all the towing on interstate 95, 76 and 676; pushing out all private towers when the rest of the state of Pennsylvania uses private towers. Private towers allow customers the option to have their car towed anywhere they choose. On the other hand the Philadelphia parking authority only takes the customer back to their tow lot for $150.00 plus storage. Then towing out of their lot becomes the customers’ responsibility, customers having their vehicle towed separately from the parking authorities’ lot to the customers’ desired location.
Two tows…....sounds like double the cost…...Ridiculous if you ask me!
