A Phillies-Sox Series? Is it really too much to ask?

You know what they say -
The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards the World Series.
Did anyone save one of those Mayfair for Obama stickers from Saturday? I am trying to track one down for a friend. Pretty cool!

Really interesting story about how Sen. Obama wrote his race speech right here in good old Philadelphia.

Good luck everyone...

p.s.
I betcha Jimmy Rollins knew all along.
LA 'fans'
If there's any justice, not only will LA lose this series, but their team. Look at the stands in Dodger Stadium- they're half-full until the 3rd inning, and then they empty out before the 8th. And those 'fans' who are there cheer like mad at every pop up.
Screw 'em. I say move the team back to Brooklyn. If you looked at Brooklyn as being an independent city, its 2.5 million people would make it bigger than all but 2 cities hosting baseball teams (Chicago + Toronto- I'm not including LA or NYC for obvious reasons). That means Brooklyn is bigger than *22* cities which currently host MLB teams. Screw LA. They don't deserve a franchise as distinguished as the Dodgers.

Re: the Bosox...
Put a fork in 'em. They are, as my ex-girlfriend from Worcester, MA called them- the Dead Sox.

btw
that picture that was displaying as a fingerr was supposed to be the 1980s phils logo with independence hall on it. but maybe it was fitting.
you're right about LA "fans"
So many empty seats!
And I totally take it back about Sox versus the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The race is still kind of close in Florida (6 pts.) They need more baseball. It's a Democratic sport.
OK, maybe not quite Dead Sox
It's 3-3. Is it too late to pull for the train wreck?
