Rolling Stone Inadvertently Busts Up Philly for McCain's Adoption of South Philly War Hero
Submitted by cheesesteak.the... on Thu, 10/02/2008 - 3:40pm.
Philebrity put out an entry about some doorknob hanging literature appealing to "South Philly" machismo by invoking area war hero John Dremasi's grit under torture. Ironically, Rolling Stone just put out an article which begins with Dremasi calling McCain to task on his character.
I blogged the connection, but the links above give you the full story too.
Does anyone have access to Mr. Schmidt? I don't think the campaign's target audience are the sorts who read Rolling Stone, but I'm kind of curious how the City GOP would respond when it turns out their adopted war hero isn't much interested in being a campaign surrogate for their guy.
