As Seen on TV: Vern Anastasio
Here's one of Vern's commercials currently airing on several cable stations across the district. In it, Anastasio stresses the importance of change this election.
Changing the tax structure to protect the most vulnerable. Changing the education system so it finally prepares our youth for the future. Changing the ethics laws in government. Changing the way we tackle crime. Changing the way in which our government delivers city services.
We post the commercial here because, if you're committed to change, you're too busy to watch TV this weekend! If you'd like to help us on election day, please contact GOTV coordinator Keith Campbell at 215.238.0235

who are you foolin Vern?
Vern & Team - I'm confused. according to the city's records department, online at http://phila-records.com/campaign-finance/eagleweb/docsearch.jsp - Vern has only one PAC filed with the city - as is the law - Voters for Vern Anastasio - and its most recent filing from just a week ago - the Cycle 2 2nd Friday Pre Primary Election - indicates you have only raised $4,825.00 total this year - far less I think than every other candidate for Council - and the only reason you have been able to spend a paldry $48,000 (and are now $43,000 in debt) is because you have loaned your campaign $38,000. in fact, but for Mike Fera's thugs at the Cement Masons, you have managed to go through all of 2007 and get lots of press and publicity and cute YouTube videos and yet only raise two total contributions for a total of $450 - one apparently from your mom - how can one candidate have that much interest from people in NOT supporting him?!?
