T.S.A. and Philadelphia International Airport Police

On 21 August, 4:15PM, 2008, I was arrested at the Airport, jailed for approx. 24 hours, and almost sent to Prison! Made bail with 15 minutes left before boarding of Prison Van! To begin with, my wife and I were on our way to Florida to see our New Grandson! He was born on the 13th of August, 2008! I am a disabled person who travels with 12 prescriptions, insulin, a diabetes blood sugar test machine, a C-PAP unit and a cane. This incident started with a search of my bags that turned up a hold-against-someone shock unit and a Leatherman multi-tool, which I had completely forgotten that I had placed them in my bag about a month ago! I never checked the contents of my bag before putting a few more items in it and leaving for the airport! When the T.S.A. asked me what was in my bag, I responded: some toiletries, bills to pay, watch, change, keys and reading material. One then asked me if I was sure that was all and I replied yes. Well, when the T.S.A. pulled out the shock unit( it was in a black case) and my multi-tool, I was more shocked than anyone else there!! I told them "to hang onto them and I will get them when I return". T.S.A. said that it wasn't up to them, I had to talk to the Police that they had called! Then one of the T.S.A. asked me for my social security number, which I gave him. "OK" I thought. Once they check me out, they will see that this is just a mistake. I have never been arrested in my life! When the Police arrived, they said that they could not hold the items them for me, so I said "just keep them, I don't want to miss my flight"! Shortly thereafter, I was handcuffed and sent to jail, and banded with a Red wristband labeled NARC! This wristband was changed approx. 5 hours later to a yellow one labeled POW! Anyway, to make a long story short, I need a VERY GOOD Philadelphia Criminal Attorney to handle my court case on 28 October, 2008! I hope someone can help me! Thank you very much, WAZ381, Mike
