About Me

I live in Southwest Philly with my wife and daughter. I work in Center City as a lawyer. I ran for City Council At-Large as a Republican in 2003 and 2007. In 1953, my father established Philadelphia's first Korean American church. I attended public school except for my freshman year of high school when I attended Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. I graduated from Central High School, Dickinson College and Rutgers University Law School-Camden. I started my legal career as a Philadelphia Assistant D.A. I resigned to enlist in the U.S. Army as a private and was commissioned a 2LT upon graduating Officer Candidate School. I later joined the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne). I serve on the Boards of Nazareth Hospital, Tribune Charities, The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvaninas, Christian Street YMCA, MiND Independent Television, Monte Jade Science & Technology Assn.: Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and Nazareth Academy High School. I am the Chairman of the Phila. Chapter, 82nd Airborne Assn.
